Day 1: London Arrival
Expected to arrive London Heathrow airport at 17:55 (normally by Qatar airway).
Day 2: London
Your London orientation tour starts with London walking tour- view of Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben clock tower, Parliament Square, Number Ten (Downing Street), Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square. In the afternoon, continue orientation tour – view of Tower Bridge and Tower of London.
Day 3: London – Cambridge – Leeds
After breakfast it is time to visit the nation’s acclaimed educational institution; Cambridge University with its ancient colleges, cobbled streets and punting on the pretty River Cam. For those keen to discover the little grass-roots shops, there will be time to wander around. Then continue to Leeds for overnight.
Day 4: Leeds – York – Edinburgh – Airth
After breakfast, head to York, a mecca for history buffs and lovers of fine architecture and culture and where Bronte Sisters wrote their novels. Wuthering Heights is one of them. We are then heading into Scotland.
Day 5: Airth – Edinburgh – Airth
The city of Edinburgh is awaiting, to embrace it with both arms. Edinburgh represents the best in Scottish heritage. Upon arrival, we first visit Edinburgh Castle, set on the stunning view of volcanic rock structures. We then continue this royal trail with a visit to Holyrood Palace, City Hall and the Royal Park. Optional is a visit to JK Rowling’s Ivory Cafe where Harry Potter was authored, to enjoy a cup of coffee.
Day 6: Airth – Windermere – Leigh
After breakfast, we drive straight to Lake District, located in the west side of the north of England and on the way we will stop in Gretna Green to visit famous roman story about love village. After that continue to Lake District, this National Park is one of the UK’s most popular tourist spots. Then head to Leigh for overnight.
Day 7: Manchester – Liverpool – Manchester – Leigh
Next on the list is Manchester. Fashionable, social buzz and dynamic, the England’s most productive industrial city. Football fans can enjoy a pilgrimage to the Manchester United Old Trafford grounds; or catch a training game, food lovers can pick a scrumptious restaurant in the nearby Chinatown. Bound for Liverpool – the home of ‘The Beatles’! For football fans, Anfield Football Stadium home to Liverpool FC will excite. For Beatles fans, there are a myriad of locations which were significant to developing the world class pop act, which shaped modern music as we know it. The Cavern’ isn’t far away, and is a pub where identity of The Beatles was formed
Day 8: Leigh – Stratford-Upon-Avon – Cardiff
After breakfast, drive to Shakespeare’s hometown, in Stratford Upon Avon. Subsequently this is also where acclaimed Hollywood blockbuster movie, ‘Shakespeare in Love’ was filmed. Onwards to the Welsh capital of Cardiff, you have an evening in which to enjoy the local nightlife on offer.
Day 9: Cardiff – Bath – Amesbury – Swindon
We also visit the beautiful Georgian City of Bath and take you on a panoramic tour of some of the finest architectural sights in Europe, including Bath Abbey, the Circus, Assembly Rooms and the famous Pulteney Bridge. Explore the Roman Baths, built around thermal springs, which have been supplying water for over 2,000 years. In Roman times a great Temple was built next to the sacred spring – the waters were believed to have healing properties and attracted visitors from across the Roman Empire. We then head to the ancient stone circle of Stonehenge which is an amazing feat of engineering and the most important prehistoric site in England. In the afternoon, continue to Swindon for overnight.
Day 10: Swindon – Oxford – Bicester – Windsor – London
Today we also visit the city of Dreaming Spires and home to the world’s most famous university. Its colleges date back to the 13th century, an inspiration to generations of scholars including President Bill Clinton, and the authors J R R Tolkien, Lewis Carroll and C S Lewis, most notably the most famous person of Myanmar in our generation, Aung San Suu Kyi. Our big anticipated outing must be the now infamous Bicester Outlet Shopping Village. We will then continue to visit the Windsor Castle, home to the Royal Family for 900 years and is still an Official Residence of the Queen. Take some time to explore the castle grounds and the fourteenth century St. George’s Chapel. Return to London for overnight.
Day 11: London
Today is your free and easy day with no coach service but travel by public transport only – Harrods store, and shopping at popular Oxford Street are recommended and famous London China Town for a dinner.
Day 12: London departure
Transfer to London Heathrow airport for international flight departure. Expected to depart with morning flight, if your flight is late, the rest of the day at your leisure.
