The semi-precious stones such as lapis lazuli, garnet, moonstone, peridotschrysoberyl and manyothers are also found in Mogok.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Yangon Arrival
Arrive Yangon International Airport, welcomed by our local tour guide and transferred to the Hotel. After refreshments, a visit to the legendary Shwedagon Pagoda, towering 99m above Yangon and containing the relics of four past Buddhas at dusk caps a perfect first day in Yangon. Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant which serves lovely Myanmar cuisine.

Day 2: Yangon
Unearth some cultural highlights of Yangon in the Sule Pagoda, the National Museum, Bogyoke Aung San market (formerly Scott Market) and Chinatown, presenting an exceptional chance to learn more about the food, history and people of this fascinating city. Then the House of White Elephants; which are regarded as Royal ornament and properties in olden days of Myanmar. Continue to the famous Gems Museum.

Day 3: Yangon – Mandalay – Mogok
Early morning flight to Mandalay. Welcomed by a local tour guide and drive to Mogok, 205 km north of Mandalay. En route, you will be passing through the flat, plain and mountainous landscape. During the service stops at some villages, you will get an opportunity to witness their local customs and daily works such as farming, wood-cutting, weaving thatch for roofing and selling regional products of vegetable and so on. Arrive Mogok in the late afternoon.

Day 4: Mogok
Take a tour to the Eastern part of Mogok with Cinema Hall Gem market “Htar Pwe”, visit the Goldsmiths, Mogok Market to study Gems cutting, polishing and various workshops. After lunch, proceed to “Pan-Chan (Park) Gems market” known for its precious and high quality Gems trading spot.

Day 5: Mogok – Mandalay
One of the highlights of this tour is getting to the Ruby mines in Bawbadan. Leaving Mogok behind and drive back to Mandalay. Enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant

Day 6: Mandalay – Jade Market – Yangon
Begin your day with a visit to the famous Mandalay Jade Market. Transfer to Tadaoo airport for your flight to Yangon, you will then join your international flight.
