Day 1: Edinburgh Arrival (-/-/D)
Expected to arrive Edinburgh airport (EDI) in the morning. Transfer to the city of Edinburgh, . Walk up the Calton Hill for panoramic view of the medieval Old Town and elegant Georgian New Town with gardens and neoclassical buildings. Then visit Edinburgh Castle (ticket included). Optional is a visit to JK Rowling’s Ivory Cafe where Harry Potter was authored, to enjoy a cup of coffee. Note: the airport immigration procedure could normally more than 1-2 hours until meeting in the arrival hall.
Day 2: Edinburgh – Lake District – Manchester (B/L/D)
After breakfast, drive straight to Lake District, on the way stop in Gretna Green to visit the famous roman story about love village. After that continue to Lake District. Next on the list is Manchester. Football fans can enjoy a pilgrimage to the Manchester United Old Trafford Stadium.
Day 3: Manchester – Liverpool – Manchester (B/L/D)
Today, head across the border, bound for Liverpool – the home of ‘The Beatles’ and two world famous premier league football clubs, Anfield and Goodison Park Stadiums! Proceed to the Metropolitan Cathedral, The Albert Dock, a complex of dock buildings and warehouses. Drive back to Manchester for overnight.
Day 4: Manchester – Cardiff – Bristol (B/L/D)
After breakfast, drive to the Welsh capital of Cardiff. Visit Wales’s natural history, geology, archaeology and art at the National Museum, the iconic Millennium Stadium and Plas Roald Dahl – a contemporary square home to the Millennium Centre and National Assembly. Then continue to Bristol for overnight. On the way, a short stop for photo with Clifton Suspension Bridge.
Day 5: Bristol – Bath – Stonehenge – London (B/L/D)
Head for the beautiful Georgian City of Bath including the Roman Baths and the famous Pulteney Bridge. And photo stop at The Royal Crescent. Then head to the ancient stone circle of Stonehenge, the most important prehistoric site in England. Then head for London, the capital of England.
Day 6: London (B/L/-)
Today, take the ride on London Underground Train, the world’s oldest underground railway network, and one of the largest. First visit is Tower of London and Tower Bridge, two of the city’s most famous historical landmarks. Then continue to the luxury department store Harrods. Then your final shopping opportunity in the famous Oxford street or at Westfield London. (dinner is under own arrangement in order to have more time for shopping)
Day 7: London (B/L/D)
London orientation tour – view of Green Park, Buckingham Palace which is the London residence and administrative headquarters of the reigning monarch of the United Kingdom, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben clock tower, Westminster Abbey and London Eye for the panoramic view of the city. In the afternoon, London orientation continues with – Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, China Town and Trafalgar Square, one of London’s most vibrant spaces in the middle of the city.
Day 8: London and Departure (B/-/-)
The rest of the day is your leisure until transferred to London Heathrow airport for international flight departure.
